The platform was first built from an overall architectural design of what was to be acheive. From this top layer, various subsystems were designed, and then details were developed for the implementation of each of these subsystem. As time went on each of these subsystems were further enhanced and sets of documentation were maintained up to date along with the implementation progress. There are many sets of documentation associated with the platform. The TV Messenger embodiment today, is protected by an extensive pending-patent of 108 pages, 13 independent claims, 365 overall claims and 11 pages of images. This patent application is actually a roadmap for a range of new inventions that can be filed well into the future for the further transformation of TV from an entertainment device to one that also provides care, communications, and peace of mind.
